SenseICs Corporation Digital Design Engineer, Megan Manifold, recently attended the SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics Defense + Commercial Sensing conference and presented our paper:
“DARSoC: A Radiation-Hardened Reconfigurable LiDAR SoC for Long-Range Atmospheric Sensing”

This work highlights DARSoC, an 8-channel radiation-hardened LiDAR ASIC designed for long-range airborne and spaceborne sensing applications. The paper discusses integrated timing and control, on-chip histogramming, configurable region-of-interest selection, and support for both Geiger-mode and linear-mode APDs to enable high-performance sensing under strict SWaP constraints.

We’re excited to continue advancing next-generation sensing technologies for aerospace, atmospheric, and defense applications.
